The North African Gerbil (Dipodillus campestris) is a species of rodent in the Muridae family. It is found in Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Morocco, Niger, Sudan, Tunisia, possibly Chad, possibly Mauritania, and possibly Western Sahara. Its natural habitats are rocky areas, hot deserts, and arable land. IUCN lists Gerbillus quadrimaculatus, a synonym of D. campestris as critically endangered.
