North-West India

North-West India or Northwestern India is a region which is not yet defined. It has major states of India which has the border with Pakistan and other inner states including the National Capital Territory of Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and the union territories of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Chandigarh. Jammu & Kashmir, Gujarat, Punjab and Rajasthan are the biggest states in North-West India according to their population and the area also.

Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Delhi, Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Chandigarh are the states and the union territories of the region. Some neighboring states like Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra has North-West Indian Influence.

The region has more than 9 Languages and sub-languages like Dogri, Kashmiri, Pahari, Ladakhi Gujarati, Punjabi, Urdu, Hindi, Sindhi and sub-languages of Hindi like Rajasthani, Haryanvi, Khariboli etc.
