Norrland County, or Norrlands län, was a County of Sweden from 1634 to 1645, consisting of the provinces Hälsingland, Medelpad, Ångermanland, Västerbotten and Lappland. Upon its foundation the historical Norrland was divided into two parts. The other part being Österbotten. In 1638 the northern part of Norrland County, Västerbotten and Lappland, seceded to form Västerbotten County. On September 5, 1645 the remainder of the county was divided in two parts where the central part became Härnösand County and the southern part became Hudiksvall County. However in 1654 Härnösand and Hudiksvall counties were reunited under the name Västernorrland County.
The capital of Norrlands län was Hudiksvall in Hälsingland.
