From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Normski (born Norman Anderson[1]) is a black rapper, who fronted BBC television's Def2 and Dance Energy "youth" shows on BBC2 in the late 1980s and early 1990s.[2]
Normski, who has also featured in other TV projects, including reality TV shows (eg Extreme Celebrity Detox), would intersperse his prose presentation with rhymes and short raps.
His involvement in Def2 was an early mainstream outlet for rap in British mass culture. He’s now focusing on his own show ‘The Ride’ on www.pushfm.com
