Norman Wooland (16 March 1910 - 3 April 1989) was a British character actor who appeared in many major films, notably in several Shakespearean ones. He was born in Germany.
He played Horatio in Laurence Olivier's film version of Hamlet, Catesby in Olivier's film of Richard III, and Paris in Romeo and Juliet (1954), starring Laurence Harvey and Susan Shentall. He also had a bit role in The Guns of Navarone, and supporting roles in Quo Vadis (1951) and Ivanhoe (1952).
Wooland kept a herd of cows, each of which was named after Shakespearean characters.
