Norman Walsh (air marshal)

Air Marshal Norman Walsh was a senior officer in the Rhodesian Air Force and the first commander of the Air Force of Zimbabwe.[1]
Walsh flew Hunters during his earlier Air Force years.[2]
In the 1970s, Walsh held senior appointments in the Rhodesian Air Force. These included Director Air Operations (1976 to 1977), Director General Operations (1978 to 1980) and Chief of Staff from 1980 until the Rhodesian Air Force became the Air Force of Zimbabwe.
