Norman Ross (born May 2, 1896 in Portland, Oregon – died June 19, 1953 in Evanston, Illinois) was a swimmer from the United States notable for winning three gold medals at the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp. He set more than ten world records during his career.

A Stanford graduate, Ross served in World War I, received a law degree from Northwestern University, and then became a sportswriter. Later, he went into broadcasting. He was the country's first classical music disc jockey with a radio station in Chicago, where he was known as "Uncle Normie." During World War II, he was an aide to General Jimmy Doolittle.
