Norman Parker (speedway rider)

Norman Parker (born 1909 in Birmingham, England) is a former international speedway rider who rode in the inaugural Speedway World Championship in 1936 as a reserve.[1]
[edit] Brief career summary
He joined the Coventry Bees in 1929, and remained there until the Bees closed down in 1933. He then moved to the Harringay Racers and linked up again with his brother Jack.
After the war Parker joined the Wimbledon Dons. In 1949 he finished fourth in the Speedway World Championship. [2]
