Norman LeJeune (born May 10, 1980 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana) is an American football safety for the New Orleans VooDoo of the Arena Football League.

[edit] High school career
Attended Brusly High School at Brusly, Louisiana. Was the state's Class 3A leading rusher as a senior with 1609 yards and 27 touchdowns.

Played at LSU for four years (1999-2002). In his first year played 11 games with 1 start at linebacker. Recorded 41 tackles, 26 assists and 2 interceptions. Earned SEC All-Freshman honors. In sophomore year, played 12 games at free safety. Made 71 tackles with 6 assists. As a junior, split time playing safety and cornerback. Had 44 tackles and 18 assists in 10 games. Started 13 games playing strong safety as a senior and posted 70 tackles, 37 assists and 5 sacks.

Was a seventh-round draft choice (244th overall) of the Philadelphia Eagles. Was waived by the team on August 31 and signed to the practice squad on September 1. Was activated to 53-man roster on December 23. Was inactive for the season finale at Washington (December 27) and both playoff games.

Was released by the Eagles on August 31 and then signed to the Tennessee Titans' practice squad on November 26. Spent the final five weeks on the practice squad.

Played with the Amsterdam Admirals of the NFL Europe League in the spring. Earned NFL Europe Defensive Player of the Week award in week four of the season, having recorded seven tackles, three passes defended, and two interceptions in the Admirals' 37-24 victory over the Cologne Centurions[1][2]. Recorded 36 tackles and 3 interceptions in helping Amsterdam to the World Bowl XIII title [3]. With this play he wrote history for the Amsterdam Admirals: 4-16-AMS 22 (:05) (Shotgun) 15-D.Ragone pass incomplete to 80-R.Redd (36-N.Lejeune). Lejeune bats the ball down in the end zone to force the incompletion and secure Amsterdams first ever World Bowl Championship[4].
Was released by the Titans on September 4. Signed as a free agent by the Miami Dolphins on October 25. Played in five games recording 1 tackle. Dressed but did not play in one game and was inactive for four others.

Was waived by the Dolphins on August 29. Signed to the Dolphins' practice squad on October 18 and then released on October 24. Re-signed to the practice squad on October 30 and was activated on November 22. Played at Detroit and recorded 1 tackle on November 23. Was released on December 2 and signed to the practice squad on December 6. Was activated December 27 and played in the season finale at Indianapolis on December 31. Has a total of 1 tackle in two games played.
