Colonel Norman Lamb is an American soldier and politician from Enid in the the U.S. state of Oklahoma.
Appointed by Governor of Oklahoma Brad Henry in 2003, Ward is the current Secretary of Veterans Affairs. Before entering politics, Colonel Lamb served 33 years of active and reserve duty in the United States Army as well as 18 years in the Oklahoma Senate. Secretary Lamb is currently serving his third term as Secretary. Before serving under Governor Henry, Governor Frank Keating appointed Lamb as the Secretary of Veteran Affairs in 1995. As the Secretary, Lamb is charged with ensuring all Oklahoma veterans and their families receive all possible benefits and provide health services and long-term skilled care in a residential environment to all qualified veterans residing in the state by administoring the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs.
