Norman H. Stahl

Norman H. Stahl (born 1931 in Manchester, New Hampshire) is a judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. A graduate of Tufts College and Harvard Law School, Stahl was in private practice in New Hampshire for 34 years before President George H. W. Bush nominated him to the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire in 1990. In 1992, President Bush (the Elder) promoted Stahl to the Court of Appeals. He assumed senior status in 2001.
