Norman E. Snyder is an American entrepreneur and philanthropist.

Graduated in 1983 from the University at Albany with a degree in Accounting.

Snyder spent eight years at Price Waterhouse, a goliath international accounting and consulting firm. Two of those years were spent in the Caracas, Venezuela office.
He spent five years with the National Football League Properties Inc., here he served as controller for the National Football League's marketing department.
In 1995 Mr. Snyder cofounded SoBe energy drink and served as the chief operating officer.
Following SoBe he founded and lead a new consulting firm, Redyns. Redyns offered financial and operational advice to small and medium-sized companies.
Currently he is the chief operating officer of Rheingold Brewing Company, based out of New York.

On October 17, 2005 Snyder committed $5 million to the University at Albany's School of Business to establish the "Norman E. Snyder Jr. '83 Endowment Fund". The fund will be used for general support of the business school's goal to become the leading public business school in the Northeast. The commitment represents the largest gift from an individual in the history of the University at Albany.
