Norman Carlyon Stakes

The Norman Carlyon Stakes is a Group 2 Australian thoroughbred horse race for horses aged 3 years old and over under open weight for age conditions, over a distance of 1200m.
It is held annually at Moonee Valley Racecourse in Melbourne.

1994 onwards Group 2
1989 - 1997 the race was known as the ‘Stanley Wootton Stakes’
1998 onwards the race has been called ‘Norman Carlyon Stakes’.
