Norman Buchanan

Norman Bruce Buchanan (September 16, 1915 – ) was a furniture merchant and political figure in New Brunswick, Canada. He represented Charlotte County in the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick as a Progressive Conservative member from 1952 to 1960.
He was born in Saint Stephen, New Brunswick, the son of Walter Bruce Buchanan and Leola Amelia McWin. He was educated at the University of New Brunswick and the Royal Military College. In 1944, Buchanan married Janet C. Wilson. He served in the Royal Canadian Army during World War II. Buchanan was Minister of Lands and Mines in the province's Executive Council from 1952 to 1960. He ran unsuccessfully for a federal seat in 1963.
