Norman Abrams

Norman Abrams (born 1933) was acting chancellor and Professor Emeritus in the School of Law at UCLA. It was announced on June 15, 2006 that UC President Robert C. Dynes appointed Abrams to serve as interim chancellor of UCLA starting June 30, 2006, succeeding Albert Carnesale. He was succeeded by Gene D. Block, who took his position on 15 May, 2008.
