Norm Sowden (born 1948 in Paris, Ontario) is a member of the Conservative Party of Canada. He ran as the Conservative Party candidate for the riding of Nanaimo—Cowichan in the 2006 federal election.

Norm was born in Paris, Ontario, Canada in 1948. He got his Bachelor of Education from the University of Regina in 1972, and his Master of Divinity from McMaster University in 1980. He married Alice Janz in 1968, and they have one daughter and three grandchildren. He is also a pastor at two churches, and a volunteer Chaplain for the Cowichan Valley Capitals of the British Columbia Hockey League.

Before running in the election, Sowden was a constituency assistant for former Member of Parliament Reed Elley, serving from March 2003 to June 2004. He talked to people having problems with the federal government, and also represented Elley while he was away from the riding.
