Norfolk Christian Schools

Founded in 1952, Norfolk Christian Schools (NCS) is a coeducational, private day school serving Grades K3 through 12 within a Christian perspective. The school is recognized by the Virginia State Board of Education as an accredited school and are dually accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Association of Christian Schools International. The school’s three campuses (two in Norfolk, Virginia and one in Virginia Beach, Virginia) serve the major Hampton Roads cities of Norfolk, Virginia, Virginia Beach, Virginia, Chesapeake, Virginia, Newport News, Virginia, Hampton, Virginia,Portsmouth, Virginia, and Suffolk, Virginia. Athletically, NCS is a member of the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools.

Norfolk Christian's specially trained staff really wants to help your child and encourages them to ask questions. The School offers many of varieties of classes as you will see below. The standard of Norfolk Christian is very high. Norfolk Christian is a great experience for your child and is highly recommended by many.

The NCS calendar consists of two semesters of two quarters, with midyear and final exams. The school day runs from 8:20 am to 3:25 pm with seven 50 min. periods. Optional classes of Chorus, Band, and Drama begin at Zero Bell (7:30-8:15)
