From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nordsund Bridge (Nordsundbrua) is a bridge that crosses Nordsundet between the islands Nordlandet and Gomalandet in the town of Kristiansund in Møre og Romsdal county in Norway. The bridge is 333 metres long, and the maximum clearance to the sea is 28 metres.

It replaced an older bridge that was opened on December 20, 1936. The old bridge was a steel arch bridge that was 304 metres long and had a main span of 80 metres.
