Nordic Assistance to Vietnam

Nordic Assistance to Vietnam (NAV) - non-governmental organization helping to fight the HIV/AIDS expansion in Vietnam. Founded in 1996.

The first projects on prevention of HIV in prisons was started in 2001. It was later applied for HIV-positive individuals.[1] The organization uses the ABC approach and provides palliative care, care for orphans and vulnerable children.[2]

In cooperation with the Football Association of Norway the program ("Football for All") was initiated to develop the grassroots football clubs for Vietnamese children in 2003.[1]
