Nord-Frøya

Nord-Frøya is a former municipality in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. Nord-Frøya was created on January 1, 1906 when Frøya municipality was split into Nord-Frøya and Sør-Frøya, at which point Nord-Frøya had a population of 3 972.

On January 1, 1964 Nord-Frøya with its 4 348 inhabitants was merged with Sør-Frøya to once again form the municipality Frøya.
