Norberto Odebrecht

Norberto Odebrecht (born December 9, 1920 in Recife) founded the Odebrecht Foundation in 1965. The Odebrecht Foundation was created to provide Social Security benefits that the Brazilian system either did not provide or only partially covered. It now works in the Southern Bahia Lowlands of Brazil concentrating on integrated and sustainable regional development.
