Norberto Carlos Araujo (born November 13, 1978 in Rosario) is an Argentine football central defender who plays for LDU Quito in Ecuador.
Araujo (nicknamed Beto) started his career playing in the Argentine 2nd division where he played for Aldosivi, Arsenal de Sarandí and Racing de Córdoba. In 2002 he moved to Peru where he played for Sport Boys and then Sporting Cristal where he on two Peruvian league titles.
In 2007 Araujo joined LDU Quito where he helped the club to win the Ecuadorian league in his first season. In 2008 he was part of the team that did very well in the Copa Libertadores 2008, eliminating 3 Argentine teams, including his former club Arsenal de Sarandí.
