[edit] Welcome

Hi! Welcome to the Wikipedia. Thanks for your helpful edits to Lake Highlands and east Dallas.. I'm pretty familiar with most things Dallas but there's only so much I can find out online ;). If you're interested, the Wikipedia has a Dallas WikiProject that you can join — the project has no strings attatched, its just hoped that an organized effort to improve Dallas articles will be beneficial to the community as a whole. Happy editing! drumguy8800 C T 05:32, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Spelling: Lockwood vs. Lochwood

Hi, Noleman05. I notice you started the article Lockwood, Dallas, Texas. I grew up in East Dallas and recall that the (long-defunct) shopping center and surrounding neighborhood were spelled "Lochwood," not "Lockwood." It should not be hard to find references for this. (One of the more amusing references [albeit one that's within Wikipedia] is here.) Would you consider moving the article to "Lochwood"? Thanks. Emoll 15:25, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for doing the move. I have lots of memories of that place! Emoll 16:44, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:SunsetFromFlagpoleHill.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:SunsetFromFlagpoleHill.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 16:11, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
