[edit] Composition section

stopped by, and wondering why is the last line (or even the entire paragraph) tagged as citation needed? if a song is in a key and the music is sheet music is available, is there reason for dissent? does listening to the song not predicate the intro/outro drums, dominance of the piano musically? Yeah, I just signed up to Wikipedia to basically say the same thing (I didn't see the above post.) Why would you need references? Just listen to the song. I could understand a citation if it stated that Eb is a very comfortable key for a pianist. Or that a lot of Mozart's Masonic music is written in the key of Eb, but it doesn't. We need references because information in Wikipedia articles must be verifiable, that is, published in reliable sources. Ideally, this section would cite references such as official sheet music, or professional reviews and interviews with Carlton that discuss technical aspects of the song's composition. Citing one's own expert knowledge, however accurate, could be construed as original research unless reliable secondary sources are provided. --Muchness (talk) 17:25, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

i've removed the citation needed from this section, as it appears to be applicable to an earlier reference to the piano line being homage to coldplay. Impasse 06:07, 11 December 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Impasse (talkcontribs)
