[edit] Requested move
"Nolita" already redirects here; the disambiguator ("Manhattan") not needed. Change case per WP:MOSCAPS: "For proper names and trademarks that are given in mixed or non-capitalization by their owners (such as k.d. lang, adidas and others), follow standard English text formatting and capitalization rules." Press and common usage also follows this format. The target name format matches that of other neighborhoods listed at Template:Manhattan.
Related move requests at Garment District, Manhattan, SoHo, and TriBeCa. — AjaxSmack 23:57, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

- Support, but how do you feel about
TriBeCa andSoHo? Dekimasuよ! 00:28, 29 February 2008 (UTC) - Probably Oppose as with SoHo and TriBeCa, but perhaps merge with Little Italy, unless sources that this is the predominant name are given. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 05:39, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
- Support per nom. I don't see how anyone can oppose this move, WP:MOSCAPS is pretty clear on the issue. Dan1980 (talk ♦ stalk) 20:24, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
- Weak support. It does appear to be a violation of WP:MOSCAPS, but I'm concerned that recent nominations of SoHo and TriBeCa failed, which appear to me to be similar. Andrewa (talk) 09:12, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
- Comment - I note that the move request at SoHo only had one participant other than the nominator, and TriBeCa seems to have stayed based on "official name" arguments, with very little reference to WP:COMMONNAME. I don't think it's clear that there's a broad consensus for those decisions. It might be worth broadening the scope of the discussion, to determine whether the current form of MOSCL is still backed by consensus. -GTBacchus(talk) 15:20, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- Support moving to Nolita, which is the most common spelling nowadays. Bearian (talk) 21:44, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

I don't advocate relying on this but a perusal of the hated Google Hits test results shows a rough ranking of "Nolita," "NoLita," and then "NoLITa." — AjaxSmack 20:40, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
