Nollie (skateboarding trick)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A nollie is an ollie performed using the nose, or front of the skateboard. An ollie is done with the tail, or back of the board. It is similar to a switch ollie riding backwards. A nollie is done by:
- Riding forwards
- Placing your front foot on the nose and your back foot slightly behind the middle of the board (back foot location may vary by preference)
- Applying pressure to the nose so it smacks against the ground
- Sliding your back foot up the board in the opposite direction of the way you are riding
- Leveling out
- Bending your knees to absorb the landing and riding away.
