Nolan Catholic High School is a private, coeducational, college preparatory school in the Marianist tradition, and is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth Texas. It serves the mission of the Church by educating and forming youth in the Roman Catholic faith. The school has grades 9-12 with an average student population of 1150.
This is accomplished according to the characteristics of Marianist education:
- educate for formation in faith;
- provide an integral quality education;
- educate in the family spirit;
- educate for service, justice and peace;
- educate for adaptation and change.

NCHS is a private Catholic school in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. It is the only Catholic college preparatory school in Tarrant County. Nolan specializes in providing a faith-filled education that prepares young adults for success in college or university and beyond. The school motto is Esto Dux, which in Latin translates to 'be a leader'
Since being founded in 1961, the school has served in the ministry of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth under the administration of the Society of Mary (Marianists). NCHS is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department (as approved by the Texas Education Agency). Of the 97 members of faculty, 8 are vowed religious. Amongst the faculty 50% hold advanced degrees including 4 at doctoral level. (Statistics as of 2005-2006 School Year)
The traditional college preparatory curriculum at Nolan Catholic requires 27 Carnegie units (3240 hours of instruction) for graduation. Advanced Placement and honors courses are offered in multiple disciplines. Nolan Catholic's Advance Placement classes include:

Qualified students may earn a designated honors diploma with the appropriate notification on their transcripts. Honors diploma requirements include a minimum cumulative numerical average of 93 by the end of the fall semester of the senior year. The student must have taken biology, physics, chemistry, as well as three years in the same foreign language. In addition, the student must successfully complete one full credit in six or more of the following courses:

Viking Club Mission: The Viking Club is an organization which, in conjunction with the school's administration, develops, coordinates, and supports extracurricular athletic functions by providing funding so that students may experience and enjoy athletics. While the Viking Club by-laws prohibit non-athletic expenditures, the board and membership has chosen to contribute to supporting teacher recognition and other community services, such as fund-raising efforts for Hurricane Katrina victims.
Membership: The membership is composed of parents or guardians of students and NCHS faculty/staff. It also includes alumni and friends of Nolan Catholic High School who have purchased an activity pass.

- NCHS offers a variety of performing arts opportunities including choir, both chorale and ensemble; jazz, marching, and symphonic bands; drama and dance.
- Nolan Catholic's mascot is a Viking.
- Approximately 99% of Nolan Catholic graduates attend college. Most recently, the class of 2005 had one hundred sixty-two scholarship offers totaling more than $6.3 million.
