Nok Hockey

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nok Hockey is a game produced by Carrom Company that essentially combines the games of pool and hockey.

[edit] Rules

The object of the game is to knock the puck into the opponents goal. For the goal to count, the puck must go completely through the slot. It is possible to take a direct shot into the goal, but more often, a player must bank the puck off the wall, corner or goal block. After a goal is scored, the player who was scored upon receives the puck on the center circle. A player is not allowed to hit the puck when it is in his opponent's defense area.

[edit] Alternate Rules

Some people play Nok Hockey by taking turns. First there is a face-off to determine who has the puck. Each player counts to three and then either attempts to get position of the puck or shoot at the opponent's goal. They gain possession if the puck is on their side of the table. Then the players take turns shooting.
