Noisegrind also known as Noisecore is a subgenre of Grindcore that focuses on speed rather then music. It is known for fast speeds, Offensive Lyrics, Monsterlike vocals, and improvised music.
[edit] History
Noisegrind may have started with the Boston band Anal Cunt. They originally formed to make a form of "Antimusic" which was music but had no song structures, lyrics, song titles, or written music. Later on, they decided to make actual music, but usually the songs turned out to be very simple, and lasted only 30 seconds. Other bands like Seven Minutes of Nausea had made music similar to Anal Cunt.
[edit] Characteristics
A common characteristic in Noisegrind is called a "Blur". In which the drummer plays a blast beat while the guitarist plays an improvised piece at an insane speed. Another common characteristic is low production quality, usually with loud feedback. It is also common for Noisecore bands to play out of tune instruments.
Examples of noisegrind bands include Anal Cunt, Gore Beyond Necropsy, Seven Minutes of Nausea, and Fear of God
