Noisecape is an international noise event based in The Hague, the Netherlands.
The festival offers the opportunity for artists and musicians who work in the field of new music, sound art and (visual/ sound) performances. 'New music' refers in this context to the musical field wherein interesting and relevant new musical developments take place. That can be improvised, electronic and experimental music. Also less academic, subcultural music styles have our interest.
Noisecape 2004 was located in a squatted flight tower of the former military airport Ypenburg, on the outskirts of the city. The tower itself consists of four stores, each with a small office space. The upper floor provides a wide view on the surrounding villages.
