Samuel V. Noe Middle School is a public school in Louisville, Kentucky. Noe Middle, located adjacent to the Youth Performing Arts School, offers students the unique opportunity to strengthen both their academic and artistic skills. Noe is home to the Visual and Performing Arts Optional Magnet Program, which provides performing arts classes in dance, theater arts, band, chorus and orchestra, as well as visual arts classes that include drawing,step ,painting and sculpture. They also have courses as Student Technology Leadership Program, Family and Consumer Sciences, Technology and Library/Team Aides. All students are assigned to an academic team (such as 8 Flyers [gifted], 7 Champions or 6 Diamonds); there are 4 teams for each grade 6-8. The Gifted Teams are 8 Flyers, 7 Challengers and 6 Pacesetters, for the study of core subjects—language arts, reading/Academic Enrichment, mathematics, science and social studies. Noe also offers a Gifted and Talented Magnet Program, the Advance Program, English as a Second Language, Extended School Services and the Sports Club Education Program. Noe has a Youth Services Center, and before- and after-school child-care services are available. It has great test results, including many all-distinguished people. They have great academic and athletic clubs, many of them going to state or national honors. They have a deep rivalry, especially in Quick Recall, with Meyzek Middle School. Samuel V. Noe Middle School is the notable rival of Albert E. Meyzeek Middle School, ironically, Samuel V. Noe had honored the school toward Albert E. Meyzeek
