Nocton and Dunston in Lincolnshire shared a GNR/GER Joint railway station until it was closed in 1955. Trains do still run along the Peterborough to Lincoln Line, but do not stop for goods or passengers at the old station. When travelling along the B1188 from Lincoln to Sleaford one can see the old station house on the opposite side of the road to the quarry.
