The series focuses on FUCKFORCE and effnocka, two humans with an affinity for rap and hip-hop living in the city of Magical Brooklyn, which serves as the home to many magical creatures and beings, such as small elves, dwarves, wizards, and giant rats. The series relies on observational humor from the many discussions between effnocka and FUCKFORCE. The series features brief profanity and in one episode, dealt with the rape of a five-year-old boy in a jovial manner. The nockFORCE quickie episodes have been compared to 'Shorties Watchin' Shorties'.[1]

[edit] Characters

FUCKFORCE FUCKFORCE is the laid back friend of effnocka and effectively one-half of nockFORCE.[2] He is tall with red hair and always wears a white t-shirt and blue jeans. He is usually drinking Sparks and acts as the audio specialist for nockFORCE. He believes that both Endor and Hoth are real geographical locations, near Brazil and Greenland, respectively, and has somewhat of a disdain for Soho. For a short time during the later quickie episodes, FUCKFORCE's arm was ripped off as the result of an ongoing plot regarding a giant rat attacking him. A wizard later found and assisted the group, repairing his limb, albeit as a tentacle rather than a human arm. He later regained his arm for no apparent reason. FUCKFORCE is the rap persona of Jim Gisriel. If nockFORCE were a sandwich, FUCKFORCE would be the peanut butter.[3]

effnocka effnocka is the other half of nockFORCE, who raps plan-schemes half of the time[4] and acts as the animator of the series. effnocka is black and significantly shorter than FUCKFORCE, usually wearing a green shirt reading "EFF" and black wristbands. He associates old people with libraries and salt water taffy. effnocka appears to be friends with both the Easter bunny and Santa Clause, though it was soon revealed that he is only friends with Santa in order to get presents, and because he is fun to party with. effnocka is the rap persona of Ian Jones-Quartey. If nockFORCE were a sandwich, effnocka would be the jelly.[3]

Elfay Elfay is a small elf who lives in Magical Brooklyn amongst other magical creatures. He is usually seen wearing a trucker hat and hanging around Smitty, the dwarf. Elfay was introduced in the first episode as "Terry" the elf, who is concerned with the demolition of the neighborhood's recreational center. Following the destruction of the rec center, Terry, losing his will to live, died underneath a dislodged brick. His death was the inspiration for FUCKFORCE and effnocka to form their rap group, nockFORCE.[5] The character was later brought back into the series as Elfay.[6]

Smitty Smitty is a small dwarf living in Magical Brooklyn amongst other magical creatures. He is usually seen smoking or drinking. He hangs around with Elfay, although when annoyed, he becomes violent and attacks Elfay with his pocket knife.[6] Smitty appears in the first episode with FUCKFORCE and effnocka when they broke into the rec center and stole valuables.[5] Smitty also joined nockFORCE in the recording of their song "I Don't Know".[7]

[edit] Plot

The recreational center in Magical Brooklyn is about to be demolished in order to make way for a new mini mall. A small elf mourns the imminent destruction of the center until effnocka and FUCKFORCE arrive and vow to save the rec center. Upon realizing they do not know how they are going to raise the money to stop the demolition, effnocka stumbles upon a flyer advertising a rap contest with an award of $100,000 and a dirt bike. After establishing that the dirt bike must be of some value, they decide to participate in the rap contest and save the rec center.

After recording their entry, where they reveal that while inebriated, they broke into and stole many electronics from the rec center, causing it to foreclose, discover that the rap contest was held a week before and they are too late.

The rec center is demolished with a wrecking ball and a large brick falls on the small elf. effnocka and FUCKFORCE wonder who won the rap contest and it is revealed that two street-talking, mysterious figures atop a building in Manhattan who are celebrating their victory and scheming to further ruin Magical Brooklyn with more mini malls and shopping centers, while riding the dirt bike they won in the contest.

Without the rec center, the small elf loses his will to live and dies. Grief-stricken, effnocka and FUCKFORCE vow to start their own rap group, nockFORCE, and name it after the elf in his honor. Smitty the dwarf then reveals that the elf's name was not in fact nockFORCE, but Terry.

[edit] Setting

nockFORCE takes place in the fictional borough of Magical Brooklyn, New York City. Magical Brooklyn is home to a variety of magical creatures, such as elves, dwarves, wizards, giant rats, strange monsters, and other fantasy creatures, which are mostly featured in the opening theme clip.[4] The style of these creatures range from cute, simplistically drawn to a throwback style to Ian J's RPG World.

As stated in one of the later quickie episodes, Magical Brooklyn is somewhat of a tough neighborhood, or at least tougher than effnocka or FUCKFORCE, as they could not be bullies in Magical Brooklyn because the rest of its inhabitants could "kick their ass."[8]
