Nobuo Arai (新井信男 1909 – June 15, 1990?) was a Japanese swimmer who competed in the 1928 Summer Olympics.
In the 1928 Olympics he won a silver medal in 4x200 m freestyle relay event. He was also fourthth in the semifinal of 1500 m freestyle event and did not start in the semifinal of 400 m freestyle event and did not advance in both occasions.
