"Nobody's Supposed to Be Here" is a single released by Canadian R&B singer Deborah Cox in 1998 from her second album One Wish.
The song became the biggest hit of her career,[citation needed] peaking at number-one on Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, where it remained for a record-breaking fourteen weeks. This record was tied in 2005 by Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together" and broken in 2006 by Mary J. Blige's "Be Without You", which spent fifteen weeks at number-one. The song also peaked at number 2 on the Hot 100 chart for eight consecutive weeks and reached number-one on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play chart. It only reached as high as #55 in the UK singles chart. The dance remix was also a hit on the dance charts.
This single reached the number nine on the 1999 Billboard year-end chart.[1]
