Noblesse Stakes
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Noblesse Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the Republic of Ireland for three-year-old and above thoroughbred fillies and mares. It is run over a distance of 1 mile and 4 furlongs (2,414 metres) at Cork Racecourse in June.
It is named in honour of the Irish trained racehorse Noblesse, winner of the Epsom Oaks in 1963. Prior to 2005 the race took place at Naas, and before 2004 it was classed as a Listed race and restricted to three-year-old fillies only.
