No Strings Attached Tour was 'N Sync's 2000 world tour in support of the record setting diamond album No Strings Attached.[1] It was the groups 2nd tour, and the stage was 1/3rd bigger then the groups previous stage. [2]Behinds the scenes footage of the group creating and working on the tour was featured on MTV's Making the Tour and was later released on DVD. The 1st leg sold over a one million tickets in a day, breaking the record for most tickets sold in a day. [3] Due to the fast sell out of the tour, the group continued to add new dates and legs to the tour. [4]The whole No Strings Attached was incorporated into the show, as the group first dropped from the air as puppets. Much like in the Bye Bye Bye video. One of the groups Madison Square Garden dates was filmed for an HBO special and later released on VHS and DVD.
The group performed in Arena's and some stadiums unlike their previous tour which played only Arena's and Amphitheaters. It was considered by many to be the tour of the summer. The group performed one final show on this concert at the 2001 Rock in Rio festival on Pop night to a crowd of more than 50,000. They performed along other acts such as Britney Spears.
The stage featured many special effects. There were 2 moving walk-ways, a giant laser, and a smaller stage that separated from the main stage and moved along a path through the audience, allowing the guys to get closer to the crowd. Also at each concert, a group of fans got to be on stage during the song Just Got Paid. The group also just wanted to have fun with this tour [5]
