"Live From The Pet Cemetery" is the first EP from UK hip hop artist Plan B, the lead track being "No More Eatin'". Contrary to its name, it is not live. "Who Needs Actions When You Got Words", his debut album's title track was the originally scheduled fourth single from the album and was confirmed for an 18th September 2006 release date but plans for the single release were cancelled. Instead "No More Eatin'" was chosen in its place to lead the EP. It is unknown whether "Who Needs Actions When You Got Words" will be re-scheduled for release at a later date. [1] [2]

[edit] Meaning

Despite its title, the song is about bullying and street fighting. The title is used as an extended metaphor throughout the song, implying that in successfully fighting the narrator at a young age, his opponents have gained strength (as with food) by defeating him. The song follows Plan B's narrator through various, defined age groups, from when he is eight years old and beaten up for his bike and money resulting in shame from his father's disappointment into a middle-teen, sixteen, who smokes marijuana to shell himself from his fears, through to his transformation as a young adult, who has turned into a shrewd, non-using drug dealer with a constant paranoia that he will be attacked. This paranoia manifests itself as fear until the end of the song when he strikes back and potentially murders a man who attempts to mug him; the title of the song is repeated ten or so times, getting steadily louder and louder, the guitar becoming more frantic and fast as it becomes a disturbing mantra with scratching sound effects in the background.

A remix of the track was made by London grindie band Hadouken!.
