"No Matter What" is a song by American rapper T.I. and lead single from Paper Trail.[1] It was released as a promotional track for the album on April 29, 2008, with it's eventual release onto the iTunes store following on May 6 of the same year.[2]

In an interview with MTV, T.I. addresses the content of the song, saying that the song is not completely a diss track toward Shawty Lo, despite recent accusations. "I was speaking on people who took shots at me when I was down," he said. "I would say I recorded it probably around the holidays or January, something like that, That was when the hate was real fresh and I was counted out by most."[3]

The single reached 72 on Billboard Hot 100, 42 on Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, and at number 17 on Billboard Hot Rap Tracks chart. It won the #1 of About.com's Top 10 Rap Songs For May, 28 2008. [4]
