No Disco

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

No Disco was an Irish television show broadcast by RTÉ on Network 2. It was presented subsequently by Donal Dineen,[1] Uaneen Fitzsimons and Lawrence 'Leagues' O'Toole. No Disco ran from 1993 until 2003. There was a gap in programming after Fitzsimons' death in a car crash in November 2000.[2] The cancellation of the show in 2003 caused much controversy among its viewers — at the time it was the only RTÉ show showcasing alternative music and there was no replacement show lined up to take its place.[citation needed]
