Hi, saw this page edited to a breif statement about the loss of the MB339s and so expanded, probably a bit clumsily, this is the first time I've tried writing for Wikipedia and so it's the victim of my learning curve). have just noticed the past history pages, and see there was once upon a time a quite good post war history, which disappeared to be replaced with the breif version. Any idea what happened? Also, no idea what the Cleanup thing is on about - no doubt my bad spelling and grammar, but anyone who does know how it works, feel free to either just fix the article, or email me on the adress provided - cheers Kit Boyes, kitboyes@gmail.com.

er, thanks, left email address so you could contact me if making changes, not intending to sign the work. Good job on the changes though.

Hi. I was just performing some wikification, adding links to other articles, etc. It's tough to find all the right names of the aircraft, since they were called different things in different theaters of operation. I'll see if I can locate some other of the airplane names later. (We don't seem to have an article on the Gloster Grebe). func(talk) 01:43, 7 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Not surprsing, the Grebe wasn't exactly Gloster's finest moment. Will see if I can add something :-)

Yes, I tend to forget not everyone will know a P40 is basically the same thing as a Kittyhawk and a Warhawk... Though at least the RNZAF doesn't give it's own name to aircraft, a habit which makes following Canada or India even more confusing. Thanks for your efforts.
