[edit] Muslim population

Hi no-itsme, I see we're both interested in this issue. For the "Islam in Hungary" article it was going backwards and forwards with 6,000 and 60,000 (with the MSNBC link), until somebody decided to just bring the census. I don't agree with it. As you say, there are illegal immigrants, there are people who don't want to write their religion on the census form, there are people who come from Muslim families but see themselves as atheists (especially in former communist countries). It's not so simple to say how many muslims there are in a certain country, and i think different opinions should be brought as long as they come from reliable sources. Btw, there's a similar problem with "Islam in Albania" with it going backwards and forwards between 10% and 70%, but that might be simple vandalism. I need to ask to semi-protect both those pages, but I haven't gotten around to it. Misheu 08:41, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
