Unspecified source for Image:HigwayToHellSingle.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:HigwayToHellSingle.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kimchi.sg 04:33, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

The Original Barnstar | ||
I, HK51, award you, No-Bullet, this barnstar for all your fine contributions to the AC/DC article and other related articles over the past few months :-) HK51 18:13, 16 September 2006 (UTC) |
- Thanks, it's great when your hard work is seen. You've been doing a great work also. No-Bullet 23:57, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
Bad Religion
Hi. I hope you didn't mind that I had to revert your changes to the discography section of Bad Religion article. I'm the guy who created a new page for the discography since they had many releases as well. The full-length studio albums can still stay on the Bad Religion page, but not the rest of the releases because of the page being cluttered just like the Anthrax, blink-182 or The Smashing Pumpkins articles, who also has their discographies moved to a new page. Alex 101 02:11, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, i didn't took a look to those articles. Sry for disturbing :). No-Bullet 02:35, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
Buzz/Bon
I actually meant to post you on that. I posted Bretonbanquet about it but he didn't seem to care(he removed a second Buzz Shearman mention earlier this week) Like I said on his page...I'll let regular editors bash out what's important and what isn't. I just watch that page for vandalism(more or less). BTW, I've been watching the edit war going on over there. I personally think it should go to a vote. I am of the belief that the infobox "origin" means the band's origin...not it's members. I've been meaning to research that a little more but just haven't had the time. Hopefully it all settles itself out in the proper "Wiki-process" Cheers and take care! Anger22 02:36, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
Template:AC/DC
i removed the singles from the template and i think you were right. they do seem too big for the template. sorry to bother you. thanks. --Ac-dcfreak785 13:53, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. Cheers. No-Bullet 21:57, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
FA?
I'm really thinking that AC/DC could be a FA. I reassessed it as A-class, however I feel that this is still undervaluing it. Just thought I'd let you know that, if you feel it's ready also, WP:FAC is waiting :D Cheers, Daniel.Bryant 02:44, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
- I've been working a lot in the article, and I think it will be a FA candidate soon, but at the time some sections need to be expanded a little, such as "Regained popularity (1988-present)" and "Influences". Feel free to nominate the article if you think it's ready. Cheers. No-Bullet 04:44, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

AC/DC the razors edge tour merge
hi there!
HK51 agreed on the Razors Edge tour merge with the original album page. i merged the article into The Razors Edge, and also redirected the tour page to the album page. if you want, you can also add the information on AC/DC's article. sorry to bother you. thanks! Jailbreaker22 17:43, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- Great, I will. See cheers. No-Bullet 21:21, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
When renominating
When you renominate an article for FAC, please remember to include the article's previous nomination archive in the new nomination. I did this for you on AC/DC, but it's best to do this yourself, as stated in the rules. Thanks, and good luck with your new nomination. Jeffpw 09:45, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
ogg files
how do you do them? either the wikipedia:media page is crap or I'm not smart enough to figure it out. All I really want to do is add miserlou to the pulp fiction article and maybe other important movie soundtrack stuff. If you could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. by the way, AC/DC looks great, i think i'll support it on the FA nominee page.
- p.s. it's an undisputed fact "roll n' roll ain't noise pollution" is their best song post bon scott! Andman8 23:01, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
- Hahha thanks, your support will be apreciated. It's quite easy to make the samples with audacity: open the audio file, select the part you want to upload (It should be 10% of the song or 30 seconds, whichever is shorter, see Wikipedia:Music samples) and go to file/"export selection as wav". If you want to add the fade in/out effect, open the wav file (should be the part you selected before), select the first seconds of the sound and go to effect/fade in, do the same with the last seconds but now select "fade out". You need to reduce the quality of the sample (copyright issues), so go to edit/preferences, "file format" tab and reduce the ogg quality (OGG export setup) to 0. Then go to file/"export as ogg vorbis".
- If something is not clear, feel free to ask. Cheers. No-Bullet (Talk • Contribs) 05:44, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

FAC question
Except for the ce issues, it looks pretty sound - not crazy about the use of big font in some sections, but no big deal. The section heading "New album" should be probably be adjusted to something that won't become outdated over time. Ditto for "Recent events". SandyGeorgia (Talk) 19:47, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

AC/DC FAC
For what it's worth, I think you've done a fine job (esp. as English is not your first language), and that the article will probably pass. All the hard work - ie research - has been done, it just needs a bit of tweaking here and there to bring it over the line. + Ceoil 21:09, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- Hey, No-Bullet - "Amid rumours of alcoholism and drug-induced paranoia, drummer Phil Rudd's friendship with Malcolm Young deteriorated and, after a long period of unfriendliness, the men's dislike for each other grew so strong that they fought" - Was it Rudd that was paranoid and alcoholic? Were the fights physical or verbal? I want to ce this section but the ref points to a splash screen, and I'm not sure where to go from there. + Ceoil 22:25, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

Tenacious D
Thanks for yours suggestions on the Tenacious D FA nomination.
You said "The references should be cited after a punctuation mark.", I am wondering what this means. I am happy to do the work, but I just want to know what to do.
Should I just pull out the cites and put them at the end of the sentences? Tenacious D Fans (talk) 17:56, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Nickelback.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Nickelback.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Bon Scott
Can you tell me why you undid my edit? Black Tusk 06:27, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- I undid this edit because I though it was some kind of vandalism (English is not my native language, I though "recorder" meant something with the sound recording process hahaha). Anyway, the use of the recorder by Scott isn't mentioned anywhere and your contribution wasn't sourced. If you want to add it to the article, find a reliable source (or use one that's already on it) and mention it on one of the sections. Cheers. No-Bullet (Talk • Contribs) 00:12, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

AC/DC portal
Cheers! I'd be grateful if you could help me keep the 'News' section up-to-date, not that there is ever much AC/DC news anyway! :P ĤĶ51→Łalk 13:52, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Per what User:Michaelas10 said in the peer review, we need an archival and nomination system for the "News", "Selected picture", "Quotes", "Selected biography", and "Did you know..." sections. I was wondering if you could help me out with these? Thanks for your help. ĤĶ51→Łalk 13:22, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
No problem, hope you had a nice vacation. Michaelas10 done it for the Article of the month, but we need a archival/nomination system for the other sections. I would do it, but I've got exams coming up, so I don't have enough free time. Thanks. ĤĶ51→Łalk 15:43, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
Just managed to create the archival/nomination systems for all the relevant sections! Didn't take as long as I thought it would. Anyway, I've decided to leave Wikipedia for a while, so could you keep an eye on the Portal:AC/DC peer review? Nominate it for Featured Portal when you think it's good enough. Thanks. It's been great working with you on all the AC/DC-related stuff this past...oh...half a year!? Anyway, hopefully I'll be back on Wikipedia in a few months, so see you around. arrows and snakes
Whassup? I'm new to editing, so I thought I'd inquire. (I'm learning from watching those more experienced than me.) I learned a bit from the cleanup you did on the Snakes & Arrows page. I'm curious; did you think the fact that Neil now lives in the US and has to commute to the Northeast to get back to the office -- isn't relevant? I thought the explanation filled a gap, but I'm completely open, and learning a lot here as I go. What were your thoughts in removing this? I understand all the changes you made but that one. Thanks -- ManfrenjenStJohn 04:44, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- Hi there, I was copyediting that section and I though that part of the paragraph was "difficult" to read (at least for me), so I deleted the information on brackets and i forgot to add it back. If you think that fact is relevant, feel free to readd it, I don't have any problems. Cheers. No-Bullet (Talk • Contribs) 05:32, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Unspecified source for Image:AcDc 1973.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:AcDc 1973.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 02:29, 11 May 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Renata 02:29, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Acdc-Volts.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid.
