[edit] NPOV
Just me, or does this article read like a cheerleading section? --202.150.112.157 04:11, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Accurate color emulation?
Is this really the only emulator that supports accurate GBA color emulation? VisualBoyAdvance has a 'gameboy colours' option which seems to be for the same thing. 220.237.223.140 10:32, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
It is indeed :). VBA doesn't do that. 206.248.130.241 22:27, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Illegal
Is it right to put up a page about an emulator that lets u do illegal stuff..???
- Ia it alright to have a wikipedia page on guns? You can do illegal stuff with those things!
Another good example would be the pages on marijuana, cocaine, and other drugs. It's all (supposedly) neutral information. Emulators themselves are not illegal, but things like BIOS and ROMs are in the gray area. 206.248.130.241 22:31, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Best emulators
This is currently one of the best NDS emulators available as of right now.--Brijeshhsejirb 08:44, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Notability
This article is a stub -- but it's content is certainly notable. NO$GBA is an extremely valuable tool to developers as well as as consumers seeking to emulate the hardware. You can do "illegal stuff" with anything you can get your hands on, and further, the legality of the subject of an article is no reason to remove the article. Peter van Hardenberg 11:49, 22 December 2006 (PST)
There are more things that you can do than just illegal stuff. You can test saves modified by 3rd-party programs before saving it on your game cart. This is how many people use Pokesav and similar programs: to test them. Willythechilly5 07:14, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Advert
This article reads like an ad.--69.157.157.207 01:52, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- it's a really impartial article, need to be remaked.--200.140.71.54 19:20, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Pokémon Diamond & Pearl
It is possible to run Pokémon Diamond & Pearl through this emulator, even though technically it is only a GBA emulator. By changing emulation options, it can run full speed. However, once the player goes outside, the game slows down significantly. -- User:LuGiADude 03:23, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- I removed the speed part of the article. With a fast processor you can easily run Pokemon Diamond/Pearl at over 100% in outdoor areas with 3d rendering. For example on my PC it rarely drops below 200% outside with the highest emulator speed setting.
The reason why Pokemon D&P do not function very well outside is the 3D emulation, No$gba has not been improved for full 3D support. 75.51.191.190 06:59, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
Pokemon D&P run at full speed on my computer (with the x10 slowdown option). There's a very slight drop in smoothness when I go outside, but it's only noticeable when you compare it to the indoor movement =). All it takes is a really good compy, and anything can run at full speed. 206.248.130.241 22:29, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] On Efficiency
This article does read like an ad. This quote is particularly bad:
Some complaints have also been made about the rendering of the games, as some run very slow. This is however not a problem with the emulator, but rather a problem with the user's hardware. NO$GBA is able to run a variety of games at incredible speeds and qualities, but requires top-of-the-line hardware to be able to run efficiently for the most part.
This is unnecessarily defensive and logically unsound. Such criticism addresses not the "speed" of the emulator, but the emulator's ability to make the best use of available hardware resources. Defending the emulator by saying it "requires top-of-the-line hardware to be able to run efficiently" is misunderstanding the very definition of "efficiency."Daeval 07:54, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] VERY much like an ad
"Info on fixing that problem would be highly welcome." I'm going to remove this myself sometime as I do not have time though. But please stop adding things like this... —Preceding unsigned comment added by HoOhMajor (talk • contribs) 09:00, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
The problem is that the information on the version history and such is copied directly from the homepage of the emulator itself. Come to think about it, it doesnt seem all that relevant. Maybe just remove the offending information? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 218.186.8.10 (talk) 06:36, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
I vote for removal of the History section. Unimportant (and poorly written) information. Szh 16:29, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Needs to be updated as of November 20th, 2007
Version 2.5c was released today. Unfortunately, I don't think I personally can summarize the new changes in one line (under the history section), but this article will have to be updated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Speyeker (talk • contribs) 04:53, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Martin Korth's Email
nocash-pubNO_AT_SPAMelbinse1.de EDITED FOR THE VERY LAST FUCKING TIME YOU NO-MOD JoshuaMD
- Spam protected. It's in the history if anyone wants it. Why did you post it here? --TheSeer (TalkˑContribs) 10:40, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
Ehem are you a mod no i dont think so please refrain from giving orders when you aren't a mod achoo! JoshuaMD —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.45.62.55 (talk) 13:44, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
And plus does wikipedia and no$gba have anything to do with eachother? No I don't think so. Martin Korth doesn't have ANY power over wikipedia... so ill just keep on editing until i get my way. JoshuaMD
- 1. There's no such thing as mods on Wikipedia. 2. Why are you trying to start a conflict? All I did was spam protect something and wondering why you posted it on the talk page for seemingly no reason. Stop trying to create something out of nothing... for example, what on Earth is "your way". Also, WP:POINT. --TheSeer (TalkˑContribs) 11:13, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
Seemingly people get too confused with the spam box... I am helping those retards! Oh and and stop fucking up my edits it's rude y' know? JoshuaMD
- Was that so hard to say? And I'm sorry but on Wikipedia there aren't any damn mods and just because you can act like an arsehole, doesn't mean you shouldn't. I asked a simple question, and it wasn't hard to answer. Seriously. Are you so filled with self-loathing that you need to trigger mini-debates and pretending its hard to answer the simplest question ever? My god. --TheSeer (TalkˑContribs) 13:06, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
Typically I devised a little ownage you cannot edit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BttgHLnQxaU JoshuaMD —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.45.62.55 (talk) 14:21, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

- JoshuaMD, you are really stupid. The email address really isn't necessary, so stop it. No, I am not a Mod, but... neither are you.
-
Which means, my friend, you are a moron. And no, that's not rude, moron is actually on the intelligence scale... But who really cares. LuGiADude (talk) 16:30, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Bizarre claim that "NO$GMB turned into NO$GBA"
I think that it is very bizarre to claim that NO$GMB turned into NO$GBA. Despite sharing the same debugger and user interface, the systems they are emulating are completely different. You can not incrementally add onto a GB/GBC emulator and gradually turn it into a GBA emulator, because the systems have completely different architectures.--Dwedit (talk) 23:39, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- I have rewritten the history section in full. So that claim is not longer included in the article. Since I'm not a regular wiki editor, I would like to invite some regular editors to review and correct my addition in case you see anything that doesn't fit. 84.142.224.175 (talk) 00:39, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Despite what the article says, this game can play Mega Man ZX PERFECTLY
I've played the entire game from beginning to end, and the only problem I noticed was that you have to assign the primary weapon and sub-weapon buttons to certain keys on the keyboard, because certain other keys will cause you to automatically release a charge if you jump. Other than this, the game ran 100% in every single way. This started with version 2.5b, I believe. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Speyeker (talk • contribs) 04:34, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
