[edit] States Reorganisation Act
Hi and welcome. Just a quick note that, to my knowledge, "reorganisation" is not a mispelling. It is correct British and Commonwealth English, and I believe that is the spelling used in India. It is a bit confusing in the article because one of the linked pages is incorrectly-spelled States Reorganization Commission. That article is unsourced, and a possible copyright violation, so I've listed it for deletion rather than try to move it to the correctly-spelled name.
The usual practice on Wikipedia is to use Amercan spelling for American subjects, and British/COmmonwealth spelling for those subjects. By convention, most European-realted articles tend to use British English, but this does vary. For subjects involving both American and Britsh/Commonwealth subjects, or of an international nature, it's accepted practice to follow the usage of the article's creator.
By the way, I'm American born, partially raised here, and lived here as an adult, but was also partially-rased in a Commonwelath country, so I'm good with some spelling/grammar differences, but totally confused on some others, which I have trouble remembering which is correct for which country. SUch is life! - BillCJ 17:32, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
