NME Awards 2008 is a CD album given away free with a special souvenir box set issue of the NME magazine on 27th February 2008. It features artists who played at the NME Awards ceremony at the IndigO2 and the 'Big Gig' played at the O2 Arena in London, plus others who had featured in the ShockWaves NME Awards Tours that took place across the UK in January and February 2008. The album is co-presented by the charity Shelter.
