NLM CityHopper

NLM CityHopper (IATA: HN, ICAO: NLM, and Callsign: CITY), full name Nederlandse Luchtvaart Maatschappij, was a Dutch commuter airline, founded in 1966.

NLM CityHopper operated under its own name until 1992. The airline flew mostly Dutch domestic flights and short-haul European flights in and around its base of Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam. Its fleet consisted of Fokker F27, Fokker F50 and Fokker F28 aircraft.

In 1992, NLM CityHopper and another Dutch airline, Netherlines, were both acquired by KLM and rebranded as KLM Cityhopper.

NLM hit the headlines in 1981 when NLM CityHopper Flight 431 from Rotterdam to Eindhoven crashed, killing 17.
