[edit] Personal Attacks and reporting to an administrator

I am not even going to begin to get into a pissing contest with you about me or my Sifu. You are personally calling me a liar, him a liar, and the thousands of students who have trained under him, and who he was trained by also as liars. Let me give you an overview of my Sifu. Trained by Grandmaster Fu Xi-Wen when he was younger, then when Sijo started teaching Shen Lung Gung Fu, my Sifu had moved, and then took up as a student under Grandmaster Wing Lam. Then when he packed up and moved to the Seattle area, took up as a student under Taky Kimura. Then he came to my home town and even learned San Soo from one of Jimmy Woo's students students, Sifu James Matthews, who is younger than my Sifu (they did a trading of knowledge sort of thing). And my Sifu has all authentification to prove it, so how dare you attack me. Oh, and Sanshou, which is what I know you are refering to, is a sport now...it didn't always used to be, remember it is known as free fighting, people have been doing it for thousands of years, the Chinese just called it Sanshou or Sanda, and I know it was established as a method in 1920 and also used as an official fighting method for the People's Liberation Army of China, that doesn't mean it can not be used in other styles. Think outside the box. And another thing, sashes, which are used for one of two things, to hold a uniform together, and to show the rest of the students in a class that a student is of that knowledge level (unless you believe in "some" Kempo teachings stating that as a white belt got dirty it showed that the student fought and earned his color). So who gave you the right to tell instructors of the martial arts who issue students sashes for achievement in their schools. And by the way, even though all these things that I know are in my school and I learned by formal teaching, I went to a bookstore (you may have heard of those) and bought books like "The Shaolin Grandmasters Text" and multiple other books my Sifu said I should buy to learn as much as I could because "knowledge is power." Once again, thank you for our time talking about martial arts, it has been fun. I am reporting you to an administrator for not letting me inform the public, personally bashing my character, and verifying my sources when, here is a secret, they are already on the website under External Links. Thank You and have a nice day. Deaths Omen (talk) 09:51, 29 May 2008 (UTC)Deaths Omen

[edit] Northern Shaolin

I am not sure why you keep deleting knowledgeable sources off the Northern Shaolin Article. I am a current practioner, been practicing Northern Shaolin for 8 years now, and hold a red sash in Bak Sil Lum and numerous red sashes in connected styles found within the Bak Sil Lum system. You may practice Chinese Martial Arts, and I commend you on that, but do not think you are the only authority. If you want to "verify" my sources, go to Barnes and Noble or a Borders bookstore, I will revise my own statements on the page, with putting links to the other catagories, and no information about them because it can be found on the other pages. Thank You, have a nice day, and I hope you understand that I am just trying to expand on the knowledge of others who would like to know a little more about Bak Sil Lum. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Deaths Omen (talkcontribs) 6:07, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Pure Pwnage edits

Your topic on the Pure Pwnage online community was decent as it was, except for the personal comment you made on it. On Wikipedia, edits should be made as though they are final. Notes to forum members or anyone else should be made outside the article itself. I also changed the title a bit. Other than that, thanks for making the Pure Pwnage article even better. [edit] What?

You put a complaint on my talk page requesting me to "stop spamming trivia in Chinese Martial Arts articles". I do not go on Chinese Martial Arts articles, never mind edit them. Malpass93 23:01, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, I'd forgotten about that! Malpass93 09:32, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Kish and Sumer articles

Hi, thanks for removing that inappropriate and unsourced stuff from Sumer. I'm concerned that the article may still have more bunk, but I'm tot knowledgeable enough to say. Partly it's the tone, it reminds me of the tone in an old version of the Kish article that was pretty wild. -Rich Peterson130.86.14.55 (talk) 22:48, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

By the way, here's a couple lines from the current Kish article that I'm worried about. {Kish was the holy city of Ninhursag, the powerful goddess who brought kingship to the land.[citation needed] The city's patron deity was Zababa in Akkadian times.} Reminds me of the storytelling style of the earlier version.Rich (talk) 06:41, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] History of Sumer

Hi, I am trying to get third opinions on the latest disputes with Sumerophile, this time at History of Sumer, so that we can achieve a consensus, as opposed to unilateral views of one editor or another. Til Eulenspiegel (talk) 20:05, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Bodhidharma

I have left you a reply answering your question about his connection to Chinese martial arts. --Ghostexorcist (talk) 19:06, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

I have left another reply and a link to where you can find the book. --Ghostexorcist (talk) 21:42, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
If you are interested, I recently posted a few of the (many) interesting points of the book on this website. I still think the modern Shaolin Monastery is nothing but a glorified Disneyland, but this book has really renewed by interest in the subject. --Ghostexorcist (talk) 23:17, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] April 2008

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary, which wasn't included with your recent edit to Zui Quan. Thank you. Gimme danger (talk) 22:09, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Please do not keep deleting content without explanation. Why do you keep removing Zui Quan from the list of martial arts? --David from Downunder (talk) 09:23, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
