Nizhniye Sergi (Russian: Ни́жние Се́рги) is a town and the administrative centre of Nizhneserginsky District of Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia.

It is located in the Ural Mountains on the Serga River some 120 km from Yekaterinburg. The local economy centres around the ferrous metal and logging industries. The region features mineral water baths and snowsports.

Nizhniye Sergi is a small provincial city with quite narrow streets, shady parks and ancient architecture. It was founded in 1743.

Population: 12,100 (2005 est.); 12,567 (2002 Census); 14,938 (1989 Census).

The city is situated on a rolling plain surrounded by mountains, the highest of which reaches 350 meters above sea level. Nizhniye Sergi stretches for 50 km from south to north and for 36 km from east to west. It occupies the territory of 1,900 km².

Nizhniye Sergi with its health resort, located on the Montayevo Lake, is a popular destination in the Ural region. The health resort is known for its mineral water that includes 37 elements. The experienced medical personnel helps to overcome different diseases from stomach to heart ache. As for entertainment, here are club, restaurant, Russian bath – house, library and skiing center in winter.

The town is also an industrial center. The economy is based on its plant that produces nails, wires, and other products of ferrous metallurgy. Most of the production output is exported to the former Soviet countries and now the direction of the plant is negotiating with the German company over a possible partnership, so in the nearest future the production will be exported in this country.
