Nizhnekolymsky Ulus

Nizhnekolymsky Ulus (Russian: Нижнеколы́мский улу́с) is an ulus (district) of the Sakha Republic, Russia. It is municipally incorporated as the Municipal District of "Nizhnekolymsky Ulus" (муниципальный район "Нижнеколымский улус").[1] The administrative center of the ulus is the settlement of Chersky.[1] Ulus population: 5,932 (2002 Census); 13,692 (1989 Census).

Municipally, Nizhnekolymsky Ulus is divided into one urban settlement (administrative center of Chersky), which has one rural locality in its jurisdiction, and three rural settlements (formed on the basis of three administrative naslegs), comprising eleven rural localities.[2]
